Last week I shipped 2 apps in which took me 7 days to build . And also got my first paying customer.
And let me tell you I am not super technical person. I do not code either. I work full-time and I have about an hour a day to work on my own ideas.
For a long time I told myself I needed more time to build.
What actually changed is I stopped losing 8 hours a week to boring admin that was draining my brain.
I built both apps with Lovable just by describing what i want in plain English and it builds it. No code, no setup.
If you want to try it the same way I did, here is my personal link which gives you extra starting credits: Build And Ship Your First App Here
3 prompts i run to save 8 hours, follow step by step. I now run every day. Not just the prompt itself, but the exact clicks. Here is the full system.
PROMPT 1: THE 7-MINUTE INBOX (Saved me 3 hours)
Where your time goes: You open an email, overthink it, rewrite it 3 times to sound professional.
Open ChatGPT on your laptop. Click the microphone icon and ramble your messy reply. Do not try to be professional. Example: "yeah tell Sarah Tuesday works not Monday, 10am works, thanks for waiting, sorry for delay"
Right underneath, paste this exact script:
You are my email assistant. My tone is friendly, direct no fluff. Short sentences. Turn my messy note above into a professional email under 90 words. Add a clear subject line. No buzzwords, no jargon.Copy the result, paste into Gmail, hit send. Done.
Common mistake people make trying to sound smart. The shorter and more direct your messy note is, the better the email comes out.
I cleared 19 emails in 26 minutes on Monday morning. That used to take my whole morning.
PROMPT 2: THE SUNDAY 10-MINUTE RESET (Saved me 3 hours)
Where your time goes: You keep everything in your head. By Monday you feel behind and you scroll instead of starting.
Sunday arvo, open ChatGPT. Type your ONE goal for the week. Be specific. Example:
My main goal this week is [ship first version of my app idea]. I work full-time and I have about 60 minutes per day, Monday to Friday.Right under it, paste this:
Make me a simple Monday to Friday plan. 3 tasks max per day. One for my day job follow-ups, one for my build, one for home admin. Format as a simple table I can screenshot and print. No motivational quotes, just tasks. Keep it realistic and in My time format.Screenshot the table. Set it as your phone wallpaper or print it. That is your whole week. No other productivity app needed.
This is why I could ship 2 apps in a week. I was not deciding what to do every day, I was just doing the next small thing on the table.
PROMPT 3: THE FRIDGE PHOTO (Saved me 2 hours + $90)
Where your time goes: 6pm decision fatigue. You stare into the fridge, close it, order takeaway.
Why this works: You remove the decision. AI decides from what you already have.
Open your fridge. Take ONE photo of what is inside. Just one, messy is fine.
Open ChatGPT, click the paperclip icon, attach the photo. Then paste this:
Here is what is in my kitchen. Do not tell me to buy anything new. Make me 2 days of simple dinners for 2 people using ONLY what you see. Use the plate method: half veg, quarter protein, quarter carbs. Keep it under 20 minutes to cook, no fancy ingredients. Tell me what to use first so nothing goes to waste. I shop at Woolies.Cook what it says. No debate, no scrolling recipes.
Last week this saved me 2 hours of thinking and about $90 we would have spent on takeaway. More importantly, it gave me my evenings back to build.
That is the full system. 3 prompts, about 8 hours back.
I did not work more. I just stopped doing the boring bits manually.
If I can ship 2 apps in a week as a non-technical person with an hour a day, you can too. You just need the space first. That is the whole idea.
I am also running my nesletter at Beehiiv, because I wanted something simple that just works without the tech headache, same reason I love Lovable. If you are thinking of starting a newsletter, this is the one I use and recommend: Beehiv
I broke down the full behind-the-scenes of how I set up both apps in Lovable, the exact prompts I used to build, my launch checklist, and how I got that first paying customer which is exciting and i will share everything in our new ai skool community and it’s completely free to join. inside our Skool community this week.
