What a Tuesday morning taught me about money

Tuesday last week.

Early start. Long drive. Coffee going cold because I forgot
about it.

I checked my phone before I stepped out of the car.

There was a notification sitting there.

Someone had clicked a link I set up weeks ago signed up
to a product through it and I got paid a percentage of
that sale.

Automatically.

While I was driving. While I was doing something else
entirely. While that morning, I had done nothing to make
it happen.

That's called an affiliate commission.

Here's how it works in plain terms:

You set up a unique link. You share that link online.
When someone clicks it and signs up or buys something
through it you get paid a cut. Every time.

No selling face to face. No chasing people. No customer
service.

The platform tracks the clicks and handles the payments.
You just receive the money.

I know that sounds simple. It is simple. The setup takes
a weekend. After that the link does the work.

Now I want to be straight with you.

I'm a tradie by trade. That's my world. Early mornings,
long days, physical work.

But this newsletter isn't just for tradies.
